Perfect Book : Very well thought out and very good use was made of freedom fighters before our time. I commend Adam in placing the facts squarely in front of us and we can build on them to form A More PerfectUnion.

Taylor incorporates real-life examples of what the beloved community looks like in policy and in practice, in community and in our nation.

A powerful redemptive vision for the soul of America : The United States is at a crossroads, in many ways similar to the tumultuous period of our civil war and the civil rights era of 1960s. There is a struggle for the soul of what America is and what it means to be American. In the midst of this struggle, Adam Russell Taylor provides a redemptive vision of hope and unity, rooted in the beloved community. He does this by pointing us to a better story--a story where what we have in common is greater than our differences. He reminds us that what is possible for the moral victories of the civil rights era is possible for us today. Through his own story, Rev.
